How It Works

While photos are wonderful, a custom, handmade, woodburned portrait is a unique and special way to capture a moment from your wedding day!

I will recreate a moment of your choosing from your special day on wood at your wedding for you to cherish for years to come.

Pre Wedding

To book me for your wedding, you first, will fill out this interest form with your information, wedding date and availability for a first call with me. I will reach out and schedule a call to chat and get to know you a bit more!

I will go over details and get a feel for how I can fit into your big day! I will then send over a contract and collect a deposit to lock you in for your booking.

We will schedule a check in call 2 weeks before your wedding to get any last minute details ironed out and get a feel for the run of show and any contacts I would need.

Day of Wedding

I will arrive at your venue with my set up and all I need is an outlet and I am good to go! 

I will grab a photo of the moment you want me to capture and then head to my woodburner to get started.

Your guests can look on as the piece comes together throughout the night!

By the end of your wedding,  I will have woodburned a custom, one-of-a-kind portrait of a snapshot from your wedding day!

Turn Around

Once I have finished your portrait, I will take home the piece to add small finishing touches and sealant to preserve the piece. I will ship the piece to you within a week of your wedding day!

Add Ons

I also offer signage options if you are interested in woodburned signs such as reserved seat signs,  table numbers, seating chart etc. 

If you are interested in doing a full wedding bundle, I will take care of all your signage and live woodburning for a discounted price!

 

FAQs

What is your set up look like?

My set up is small and compact! I bring my own table, light and chair! All I need from your venue is an outlet!

How long do you need to create the portrait?

The minimum time I need to create a portrait is 5 and a half hours including set up and break down. Any less than that will mean that I will need to finish the portrait after the wedding day which will be an additional charge. 

Do you travel for weddings?

I sure do! Travel costs will be added to the final quote.

Can I take my portrait home the night of?

 Of course! If you want to forego the additional sealing and finishing time, I will bring a quick dry sealant and finish it on site, so you don't have to wait to hang your wedding portrait!
